Philippe Carcassés has translated and sings in the Occitan language (especially from Eastern Languedoc) several Brassens' songs.  He offers us these original CDs which also include instrumental titles. The rare traditional instruments used: bodega (Languedoc bagpipe), autboi and graile (popular oboes), frestèu (pan pipe) create a strongly folkloric atmosphere on these compilations accompanied by an insert of the songs in the Occitan language.
